The most important feature of Terminal Console which impacts the network traffic is the transmission of data from the console buffer in character mode. This results in a radical reduction of network traffic as compared to programs which use the graphic mode and transmit the image of the console window. Additionally, a multilevel data compression has been introduced to optimize the amount and the characteristic of the network traffic.
The software implements special options which allow to test Terminal Console performance in different network conditions without having physical access to such networks.
