We would like to invite you to test and use Mediator for xHarbour- the first RDD for xHarbour which allows an effective data and application migration to the environments of Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL and MySQL databases.
In order to test Mediator for xHarbour, three elements are necessary:
1. Current xHarbour version, available on www.xharbour.org page.
2. Medator client for xHarbour available from file server
Presently, Mediator client supports Microsoft VC++ 6.0 and Borland C++ 5.5 compilers.
PLEASE, REMEMBER TO READ HBREADME.TXT FILE AFTER THE INSTALLATION OF MEDIATOR CLIENT FOR xHARBOUR!
3. One of Mediator servers (up from version 4.0) available from file server
Mediator Server for Oracle /Windows /SUN SPARC Solaris /Linux
or
Mediator Server for Microsoft SQL Server /Windows
or
Mediator Server for PostgreSQL
or
Mediator Server for MySQL
These are free 3 or 5-user servers with a full license allowing commercial use.
In order to do tests you will also need to install a database server of your choice.
